The No Surprise Act effective 01/01/22 requires healthcare providers give patients who don't have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services for non-emergency services. We will give you a Good Faith Estimate/GFE in writing within 3 business days before your scheduled appointment, or 1 business day if you schedule an appointment only a few days out. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than you or GFE, you can dispute the bill. Visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises for more information.
